The Void (2016)
I came across a photograph that depicted the view from the ground looking up at two skyscrapers. Something about the perspective intrigued me. I crafted a piece where I could work with that same perspective and color it in a way that made it unique to my style. I liked the mirroring effect of the design so I decided to color the two halves the same way. Inspired by a book I was reading on perspective, I used bolder shades for the foreground and lighter shades for the background to create the illusion of dimension.
