Year of the Goat

Fun Facts about the Goat
The goat/sheep is the eighth animal in the Chinese zodiac system. The goat is also known as the ram or sheep because the Chinese word for goat, yáng, translates to caprinae, a taxonomic subfamily that includes both goats and sheep. In the mythical race, the goat, monkey, and rooster worked together to cross a river, with the goat eating a path through the weeds, the monkey steering the raft, and the rooster finding the raft. People born as goats are talented at expressing themselves through art, music, or other creative outlets.
