Fortune (2025)


A Zoltar-inspired cat fortuneteller motif takes center stage. And the quadrants? Well those are the 4 elements: fire, air, water, and earth. Read more about the elements below and the colors I used to represent them. Fortune was produced exclusively with matte acrylic paint by Golden.

I produced the piece for the 2025 San Diego County Fair Fine Art show. It made the show along with Grave and Remote Control!

  • In astrology, each zodiac sign is associated with one of these elements and is thought to influence personality traits and tendencies.
  • In yoga and meditation, each element can be used as a focal point for practices aimed at purifying and balancing the body and mind.
  • In traditional medicine, the elements are the building blocks of the body. Imbalances in the elements are believed to lead to illness.
  • Collectively, the elements are seen as fundamental forces that shape our universe and our experiences within in.
